Issues LTMC/LTMOM Plant Maintenance

Hello everyone,

I’m having issues with three objects used in plant maintenance:

• For QM catalogs with the object SIF_QM_CATALOG when loading the template, the transaction is showing the error “Catalog type X must not be migrated into a S/4HANA system” message CNV_DMC_SIN289 therefore it’s not possible to load any data. How can I fix this?
• The BOM object only allows to create BOM for material and not for equipment. Has someone been able to load any BOM for equipment through the LTMC?
• For the classification of equipment I'm having the same issue from above, is only available for material classification, I've tried using the FM from material classification but I can't make it work..

I appreciate any guide you can provide.

Hello everyone,

I found solution for two of the three points mentioned:

- The error “Catalog type X must not be migrated into a S/4HANA system” message CNV_DMC_SIN289 presented is due to a rule that is included, in LTMOM, in the step Field Mapping, which indicates that it is only possible to create catalogs of type 1 or 9. The solution for this is to remove the rule and drag the field KATALOGART from the source structure to the CAT_TYPE field of the target structure.

- To create the BOM equipment, as Ronald mentioned too, I found a BAPI and a function module was created and edited in the LTMOM and worked perfectly.

- As for the equipment classification I ended up doing it through LSMW.

hi diana,

i'm have an issue with the BOM equipment in verison 1709, I used function CSAI_BOM_CREATE, I built an object using LTMOM, but keep getting an error in step "Runtime Conversion Object":

"

Records cannot be posted to the target system; see previous messages

Message no. DMC_RT_MSG222

"

can you please advise how you did to make the bom working?

Using LTMC SAP allowing following Catalog type only.

They hardcoded these values

"Supported catalog types for QM are: 1, 2, 5, 8, 9, D, E
"Supported catalog types for PM are: D, C, 5, 2, A, B, 0

Hi Diana,

In case QM Catalog, i copied the migration object on LTMOM transaction and adapted it, because the original migration object don't work with PM catalog.

In the case BOM Equipment, the migration object for BOM don't work for equipmnet. I don´t found an object to create BOM Equipment on LTMC. I used LSMW for create BOM Equipment; but if you get a function module for create BOM equipment, use that to create a migration object on LTMOM.

Ronald, Can you please let me know what steps/changes you had to make to the QM Catalog to allow creation of PM catalogs/Codes.
