Alert to stop or supress

Hello All,

In CRM 2007 WEB UI I have created a alert and it is triggered if the email field is empty. But when the customer says I dont have the email address so when calls back again to the interaction center the Alert is triggered again so how can we stop trigerring if that customer says not to ask again and again for email update.
