Set Filter Option for ALV output field restricting field length!!

Hi,

I have developed a alv report. In the output, for one particular field, when I use

the "SET FILTER" option, the pop-up allows less space to enter the values for that particular field,

i.e. the field length is less than the original only for the pop-up. This issue occurs only for this field

and not for any other field. All field types are correct. Please suggest.
