Hello everyone, we have a problem with the bics for sap bw, only in a web report.
Our system is SAP BW 7.5 SP 10 in HANA 1 SP 12 and SAP BI 4.2 SP 5.
The problem only happens when WebI, in Analysis for OLAP works well, in AFO it works well, in any other tool it is fine.
Which leads me to think, that problem is around how the MDX is consulted.
Any recommendation from your, to solve this performance issue.
Or any recommendation to set a APS.
Best regards.
Hi,
3 DSL Bridge APS on 2 nodes is the wrong approach to this.
See this KBA on splitting the APS: https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/1694041
An alternative method is to use the system configuration wizard, available from the CMC homepage to perform an automatic split according to a template. Either way, you should have one APS dedicated to DSL on each node, with a large memory allocation rather than multiple small ones.

Hi, Thanks for your answer.
We have two nodes, each with 3 "DSL bridge service".You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
do you have dedicated APS for "DSL bridge service"? if not split default APS and assign memory according to the availability at server.
