Portal Desktop Display Error


I have created a custom desktop and applied the same desktop to all users in the portal. While accessing the page in the portal I am getting the following error with the blank page.

"Error occurred while trying to access desktop: "portal_content/every_user/general/defaultDesktopCustom". The object does not exist or you are not authorized to access it. If this problem persists, contact your system administrator."

Please let me know how to resolve the issue.
