Settlement of AUC does not consider transaction type 970:AIAB

Hello All,

We are doing trying to do settlement of an Asset Under Construction.

It has 12 line items:

a) 11 line items with transaction type 100 (external acquisition through a vendor)

b) 01 line item with transaction type 970 (Asset Data Transfer)

Please find attached screenshot.

Now, I am trying to settle this AuC through AIAB. It shows up line items with transaction type 100 correctly. But the issue is with the line item with transaction type 970 which is not shown at the time of settlement through AIAB. Please find attached screenshot.

Can you please let me know if there are any configuration settings which needs to be done for including transaction type 970 (Asset Data Transfer. This asset is from a legacy system)?

Or can we go with the option - to transfer the current AuC to a new AuC and then we can do the settlement?

Your help would be highly appreciated!

Thank you.

Did you create the Trans. Type 970? If yes, what was the reason and why you did not use 100 for AUC's as well?

Also, can you please check if that is appearing in AO73? If yes, please check if the below options are mapped correctly.

Ticket the option "Capitalize fixed asset"

Consolidation transaction type 100 Acquisitions

Asst hist sheet grp 10 Acquisition

Check these and confirm.

Thanks,

Thank you for your inputs.

Transaction type 970 was used to transfer the asset values only for legacy assets.

That is, the legacy assets were created through A091, then the legacy data transfer values were updated manually through transaction - ABLDT.

As per your instructions, have checked the transaction type 970, and it is found that "Capitalize Fixed Asset" is not marked.

I tried marking "Capitalize Fixed Asset" for transaction type 970, but it is greyed out.

Could you please let me know if it is possible to change the transaction type 970 i.e. to mark "Capitalize Fixed Asset"?

Just for information, I just found a workaround solution since it was a period close. What we did is we have transferred the AuC to a new AuC through transaction - ABUMN. Post-transfer to a new AuC we did the settlement through - AIAB, and all the line items with transaction type - 100, as well as transaction type - 970 were included.

Again thank you for your inputs NSK.
