PLM 7.0 web UI has been developed in Web Dynpro ABAP and can be opened via NWBC or Portal. Looks great! However, we are working on PLM (ECC5) in WIN GUI. Suppose we want to upgrade from ECC 5 to Business Suite 7 in the future: are we still going to be able to let users use the WIN GUI (or HTML GUI) they are used too (so technical upgrade only) and then do the move from WIN to WEB UI in a separate step or are we forced to start using the Web Dynpro ABAP UI right after the upgrade?
kind regards
Angelique Heutinck
Hi,
you can have SAPGui and WebDynpro based UIs in parallel inside the NetWeaver Business Client. Or even a technical upgrade to ECC 6.0 EhP 4 with no usage of Web UIs... The SAPGUI-based UIs are all still working and supported in EhP 4.
Best regards,
Martin
