There is requirement to name the excel file when a BI report is downloaded from the portal, and also there needs to give header line in the excel file like company code and the date on which the report was pulled. how can i incorprate the same.
If you are referring to the Export as Excel button - you cannot change that...
The other quite complicated option is to write your own BSP / class and call that through a custom button and generate a custom Excel sheet - but then the effort would be quite large for the same..??
Thanks for the reply. u are right am refering to the "Export to excel button", U are stating that give name to the file is not possible or No to both of my questions. i.e., for also to the adding header to the down loaded file, like the date of generation of the report and for which the company the report was generated.
