which are the Work Centers required, to be assigned to a business role to design a Dashboard?

Hello Experts,

In one of the Business requirements, we need to setup a business role, where this business role has Read only access to all report and should be able to design/create/edit a Dashboard. I have assigned following work center to this role, however I do not see the design mode active in HTML5

COD_ANALYSIS --> Dashboard

Business Analytics --> Design Dashboard

COD_DASHBOARD_MANAGER --> Manager

COD_DASHBOARD -->Dashboard

Can someone help me with the list of work center required to be assigned to a business role to enable the edit/ create/design a Dashboard ?

Hi Akhil,

I would assign:

ANA_BUSINESSANALYTICS

> ANA_DESIGN_ADB Design Dashboards

Besides, please check Administrator Analytics - Settings in the activity list, one of the settings allows the assignment of reports to business roles. When a dashboard is created and assigned to a business role, the user who created the dashboards needs to ensure that the report is assigned to that business role (Business Analytics > Design Reports > Assign)

I have assigned these work centers to the Business role. I can create a Dashboard from HTML5 view.

Business analytics --> Design Dashboard .

The issue is,when i open the Dashboard in HTML5 , with admin role i can see the Design mode . However, for the Business user role, which has lesser authorization, i cant see the design mode.

I assume, i am missing some of the work center assignments which are mandatory, but not sure which are these 😞
