maximum display of lines in a f4

Hello experts,

I have a searchhelp on a modul pool screen 100 . I display the search help using Function module 'F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST'...

now when it displays the help dropdown it pops a warning saying only first 5000 records can be seen.

I have say around 8,000 records .which i have to display. can some one help me in this?

    Hi,

    Good

    There should be a limitation of display of data through

    'F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST' so it is displaying 5000 records in a single attempt. If you want to increase the number of records in a single attempt than you have to do the customization in this function module.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    Try like this,

    F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST F4 help that returns the values selected in an internal table. Very handy when programming your very own F4 help for a field.

    call function 'F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST'

    exporting

    retfield = 'BEGRU'

    value_org = 'S'

    tables

    value_tab = t_values

    return_tab = t_return

    exceptions

    parameter_error = 1

    no_values_found = 2

    others = 3.

    Regards,

    Neelima.
