Is it possible to take infocube rether than ACDOCA for actual in IBPF

Hi Experts,

According to my client requirement for planning they are having separate data which is not same as the actual data present in ACDOCA.

ACDOCA is having different actual data

and real Actual Planning data is coming from different source like flat file and some BW jobs .

Now i need to use source Actual data from different source and not from ACDOCA for Actuals .

And client is having system configuration SAP BPC OPTIMIZED FOR S4HANA (IBPF) .

So i was just thinking that rather then ACDOCA if i will use other inofcube to store ACTUAL TO SOLVE THIS problem.

So according to my solution Infocube 1 for actual and ACDOCP for planning.

Any one please suggest any pro and cons with this approach or please suggest ?

Note:- Client do not need data retraction from planning data.

Ok, so based on the information you provided this is what I gathered:

You have a BPC Optimised for S/4HANA and need to implement Planning (with incoming data coming out of S/4) as well as Consolidation (with data coming from S/4).

For consolidation, you should take a look at RTC (available from 1609) and Planning should be done in a separate model where you can account for your different sources and rules. You can later integrate plan data in your RTC model for consolidation of plan if required.

By your description, the standard content in BPC Optimised for S/4HANA will not fit your requirements.

yes i am also thinking for the same just i worried about data transfer from Plan model to RTC model ?

As i am planning for Planning one DSO 1(Actual data) , DSO2(Plan DATA )

for Consolidation ACDOCA and ACDOCC

Now i am just worried that it should not create any kind of problem to transfer the data or get the values in consolidation ? let me know if my understanding is correct.

Why do you need embedded model in this case? Standard will be fine for the client requirements.

Thanks for reply actually client is using S4HANA and BPC consolidation will be on S4HANA as consolidation is taking actuals from ACDOCA .

Let me describe :

There will be Consolidation and Planning both the thing we need to implement

For Planning client do not want to use Actual from ACDOCA as because of report and input template data is coming from different source (Planning data)

For consolidation its ok to get the actual from ACDOCA so for Consolidation there is no problem we can have IBPF and get it implement

SO now i am just wondering that planning also i can go ahead with IBPF having One infocube rather then ACDOCA .(retraction will be not there )

But i know its not good solution you are correct to have BPC Standard but any way to have planning also With IBPF ?

Note:- And for one report client taking planning data in consolidation report So is it possible to get the data from BPC standard to IBPF for report ?
