my client is using ecc 6.0 now but here thery are not using document spliting now the want do that so wht is procedure for doing this ; plz clear me on this ;

Your client has to undertake migration from Classic General Ledger to New General Ledger. For information, pl look at OSS note 868278. Migration guide is also available in the following link for better understanding.
