Job to empty LBWQ (application 11) and posting data

Hi All,

We will upgrade to ECC6 and we have to do some actions to keep delta extraction for SAP BW.

I have 2 questions concerning LBWQ:

1) Can we execute the application 11 job to empty LBWQ (LIS-BW-VB_APPLICATION_11_200 02 ) while the users are working on the source system?

2) Before execute the support package on SAP R3, we have to empty LBWQ ==> could we re execute the application 11 job if we will have a problem the first time. In other words, in when delta data are really sent to RSA7?

Hi,

Fix the down time in the night and then execute V3 jons manully and load deltas in BW repeate this step for 2 to 3 times.So SMQ1 and RSA7 will clear.

Follow the above step.

Thank you Reddy for your quickly answer,

Just for better understanding, do you mean that we could execute the application 11 (V3 job for you) in the meantime that users are working on SAP R3 (when they are posting data in the LBWQ)?

And what do you mean by down time at night? (is it the "To" time field in the start job condition (sm37)?

Hi,

Take down time then only run V3 jobs, so fix the down time in the night time and weekends..

Night time = users won't work at that time.
