REM backflush and component consumption in decimal

Upon REM backflush the component consumption (261 mvt) gets posted in decimals when the unit of measure is EA (Discrete units). Not sure why this happens?

    Dear G SAP,

Please check base Unit of Measure (UoM) in material master and Unit of Measure (UoM) in component Bill of Material.

Are they have same Unit of Measure (UoM) ?

    Thanks and regards

    Anita A.
