Appraisal template is missing in appraisal catalog structure

Hello,

Some appraisal templates are created in development system and imported to productive system. With no reason, we cannot find the these any more under the accordingly appraisal catalog in development system. Check the table HRP1000, the object VA is stored in the table and the assigned relationship too. But I cannot find it through PHAP_CATALOG_PA under catalog structure. Could someone help me how should I analyze this Error? Thanks.

Hello,

Please check whether the plan version of these missing templates are set to .: rather than your
target system's active plan version, for example 01 for most of the cases.

For solution, you can have a look at KBA '1637974 - PM: Transporting appraisal templates, process and tab configuration'.

Actually, this is a common situation in trasnporting some HR objects, like templates here in this case
as well as other org objects such as O etc. It is because we cannot presume the active plan version in
the target system will surly be 01 when transporting objects between systems, so these objects are transported
with '.:' as their plan version instead and then assigned to the active plan version code when they arrived
in the target system, and if there was anyke missing there, the transported objects with missing code
reference would remain in .:, and that's why you should run report RHSOBJCH, to reconciliate these
missing entries, if any.

provided solution for this case, so please go through it in detail and retry on your end.

Hello Lucy, thank you for your Suggestion. I can´t implement your Suggestion yet, because the transport request is been controlled by IT, and it seem that Transport something from test sys. to dev. sys. is not usual.

But through my Research I found the object VH (process) and VA (template) is actually in the dev. I can only see them in se16n. But somehow the relationship between template to appraisal catalog is missing. Maybe this could be created again, but I don´t know how to do it. Do you have any idea? Or someone can advise me?
