Material Description in Chineese language

Dear All,

I am trying to upload language key ZH - Chineese and material description in chineese language by bdc and Lsmw from text file. But after uploading, text is showing in some other format which is not chineese. Please give me some suggestion to overcome this problem.

Hi Mohit,

Please check you need to be login to SAP using ZH login only for this.

i.e. while logging on to the system put 'ZH' in the language field.

Thanks for suggesstion.

Probelm is being resolved. I have used Excel file instead of Textdelimted file in BDC.

In Excel interfacing,Chinese text is coming properly even though i have logged on in Chinese Language.

Do I need to logon in ZH language to do this?

My system is Unicode, so I would like to connect in english (or italian) language, and after enter material description in chineese language without logon in chinese language.

After I will nedd to enter in arabic language, so I suppose that it is equal.

no you do not need to logon in foreign languages to load texts. The language is in direct/batch input and/or IDOC you use to load to data to SAP . So SAP knows in which language it has to store the records, and the user can stay in a language environment he is able to navigate and use.

If you passing the file from file make sure the file is in unicode format and login language should be Chinese then try to upload it will work fine.
