GL balance miss match in faglb03 and fagll03 after oim activation.

Hi,

Recently we have activated open item management in few GL accounts.

when I check the GL balance in Faglb03 and Gagll03 the balances are miss match. the balance in Faglb03 is showing as 3000 when I check line item it is showing as 2000 only.

Please advice.

Hi,

How did you activate 'open item'? You know that switching the flag in G/L master is not sufficient and you have to use FAGL_ACTIVATE_OP.

The above note is referring to new GL activation however my issue is related to open item management activation.

The programs are to check line items & balance account. It was designed for new gl mig but is used for this as well.

Check on Eli comment, FAGL_ACTIVATE_OP is to activate OI on GL accounts in NewGL and in general does not give errors.
