BDC for J3A1 - AFS Maintain planned requirements in SAP ECC 6.0

Hi,

I have a requirement to update the AFS Planned requirements usng BDC for the transaction code J3A1, This transaction has positiong button to go to particular item so that it's easy for updating quantities for a particular period. If anyone has used this transaction for update using BDC, please let me know.

Also if there are any alternatives to do this requirement via Function module.

Appricate your help on this.
