Hello gurus, what is the point of the SAP CRM Email Transfer folder in MS-Outlook? When we select the folder, we see our inbox and have the ability to view the emails. There is also a transfer button that seems to do nothing. However, what is the purpose of this folder in Outlook? Appreciate any input.
Cheers,
Romi
Hi,
e-mails can be transferred to CRM. There they're stored as activity of type "inbound e-mail" (default transaction type 0004). You need to allow activeX for the current security zone and install Microsoft CDO to make it work. Check SAP note 962341

Hi Romi,
This folder 'SAP CRM Email Transfer' in Outlook is used to synchronize the inbox with SAP CRM.
For this functionality to work you need to have ActiveX components enabled for your browser and CDO to be installed.
For further information you can refer to OSS note: 963408 and
Hope this helps!
