Service Contract Target Value and Line Item Values in Value Contact

SAP Gurus,

I want to know why the system does not issue error when there is value differnce between the Target value and all Line item Values for service value contract......

Like service contract Targat value is 10000 USD

If all line item value of services is more than 10000 USD the system is accepting But Normally the system should not accept....Is there any message for the system to check between the target value and all line item value...

The target value validation is done at the time of posting of subsequent documents referring the contract. The purpose of the target value at header level is for that purpose only
