How to get MDM 7.1? Please tell me the download link, or send me trial edition，thanks

Hi Huang ,

You should be able to view the SAP-MDM 7.1 documents under the above mentioned links.

If you have an S user Id ,it means you are a partner company of SAP and is given the priveledges required to download the software.

Follow this path:

https://websmp104.sap-ag.de/swdc

Navigate in this fashion

- Download

- Support Packages and Patches

- Entry by Application Group

- " SAP NetWeaver"

- SAP MDM

- SAPMDM 5.5 and SAP netweaver MDM 7.1

- Select SAP netweaver MDM 7.1

- Entry by component

Here you will see the entire list of components that can be installed with SAP MDM,You can select the mandatory ones for download and leave out the optional ones.

I am able to see thsi entire tree,If you are not able to view the same then it means that your S id is missing on some authorization.Contact your Company's Basis team to do the needful.

I am Amused, how did this mail get so many replies:-) MDM 7.1 is still in ramp up mode, how can the person who doesn't have access could get installables.

MDM 7.1 is getting into General Availability on May 18th on Sp02. I am working on the rampup mode.

can anyone tell me why? and how can i download and try it?

Hi Vic,

You need to have a Valid S user Id to download the SAP MDM software from the service market place.

If you have an id starting with S it means you are having an SAP partner id and must be alowed to download the software.

If not you can ask your company's basis team to do this as they usually have the complete rights to download softwares.

MDM Installation Mastrer 7.1

MDM Server 7.1

MDM Shared Installation Content 7.1

In the above only MDM Installation Master 7.1 has the Win32 where has the remaining two does not have win32 Option. Do I need to just download MDM Installation Master 7.1 Win32 and it works fine??

Do any one has any document waht files I need to download and install?

Hello Vic,

As far as I know, 7.1 is currently in the ramp-up stage. The downloading of 7.1 is greatly restricted. Only S ID attached with 7.1 ramp-up program can see the download link and download the files.

Hello Vic,

A Ramp-Up is similar to a closed beta-testing. In general, you have to apply to SAP for being part of the ramp-up, and fullfil certain preconditions. If SAP agrees, you will be able to download the software.

As far as I know, the the Ramp-Up will end in May or June. Hence, you will be able to download the GA (General Availability) version of SAP MDM 7.1 then (provided your company has the appropriate licenses).

I can't see MDM 7.1, just display MDM 5.5
