Info structure on PR and GL Combination

Hi,

Our requirement is such that if a PR is created with a wrong GL then an email is sent to user for correction. I would like to handle this thru Early Warning System (EWS) rather from workflow.

For instance if a PR is created with GL 787800, then EWS scheduled for daily basis, check the count of PR with GL 787800 and if count > 1 then email sent to specific user.

How to go about it?

Not aware of EWS, but this requirement can be fulfilled by using badi (ME_PROCESS_REQ_CUST) in PR with your certain logic.

I will definately look into this Badi via my Abapers but as i am a Functional guy thus wanted to resolve the objective on my own.
