For a single company code? Tell them to take a hike. It's a standard SAP field, let it be.
How would you handle training? Would you have to create special training materials just for the users in this company? What about the global users? Wouldn't this confuse the heck out of them?
How about your SAP Support team? "Hello, IT, I have a problem with this "invoice" field... - Um, where did you find this field?"
This is just a tip of the iceberg. It's always been tons of fun to listen into the meetings where 3 departments had 3 different definitions of what "backlog" actually meant. (And none of them was the SAP definition!)

for single transaction , i think you need to use SHD0,
u can change the label of standard data element XBLNR by going to cmod->goto->text enhancements->keywords->change,
but this is going to reflect in all transactions where ever field XBLNR(reference) is used..
