Problem with Webdynpro Personalization in ESS Payslip

Hi,

In the ESS, we have the workset attached for payments to the ESS role. I have previewed the Iview from the PCD for Payslip and over there I have hidden the button for "Send Print Request" by making it invisible and "final". When I preview it over there fromt he role ESS, the button does not appear

This role is assigned to many users. When i check directly into the application, Ie. Employee Self-Service > Payments > Payslip, the button still appears. We ahve re-started the server but the button does not disappear. However when previewed from the PCD, the button is not visible.

Has anyone faced this problem ?

Can anyone please help in resolving this?

Thanks and Regards,

Pinki

Instead of preview. Please open the iView Content Area. And then Hide the button.

You need to logon using Content Administration. You need to open this iView in Content Area. Not preview it.

If you don't have ESS role attached to Content Administration then Please attach it. and then Navigate to Employee Self-Service > Payments> Payslip.

According to my understanding, in Preview mode if you preform modification such as hiding a UI element. It would not work. It should be opened in Content Area. And if you have Content Administration Rights, you can Hide button for all users.
