Service Tax Re-configuration

I read the following thread -

SD

My tax Procedure is ZTXINJ (copy of TAXINJ).

In FTXP, I created a new Tax Code ( as XA) for Service Tax ( for Acct keys, ESA as 10%, ES1 as 2% and ES2 as 1%

then, i set my condition records in VK12 (maintaining Valid Up to as 23.02.2009, for 12.36%) & creating new record in VK11 (maintaining Valid From as 24.02.2009 to Valid Up to as 31.12.9999, for 10.30%)

if i create sales order on today SAP calculates Service tax as 10.30%, but if i change pricing date to 23.02.2009 or before to that still SAP calculates 10.30% and not 12.36%

what is wrong done by me? what should i check?

thanks..

    Hi,

u don't have to change pricing date always... just change the Service Render Date from the Header Billing tab....

I don't think it makes sense as if i maintain two condition records for 12.36% (with different validity period) there is no problem.

Problem is with different Tax Rates with different condition records (for different validity periods).

      any other suggestion?

      thanks...

Thanks to Mr. Deepak Rana & Udaynath.

If, I've my condition type's Pricing Date as "Standard (KOMK-PRSDT; tax and rebate KOMK-FBUDA)" in V/06, then I've to change the Service Render date either at Header Level (if all items in Order are having same Tax %), or at Item Level (if all items in Order are having different Tax % - some 12.36% and some 10.30%)

If, I've my condition type's Pricing Date as "B - Price date (KOMK-PRSDT" in V/06, then all I've to change is Pricing Date in Order, either at Header, or Item level.

    thanks...
