Incompletion log for text

Dear Gurus,

I am SAP SD lerner.

Q-1

I understood the text determination and assignment to document types.

How can I create the incompletion log for a header and item text for sales document - sale order ?

Q-2

Go to IMG-> SD-> Basic function-> Log of incomplete items-> Define incompleteness procedures->

Group - A - Sales Header -> Incompleteness procedure -> Incompleteness fields

I am unable to understand - Table / field name / screen / sequence.

Please explain asap.

Hi,

In the sale oreder - if you want to include PO number in the Incompleteness procedure(i.e., while saving the sale order - if this field is npt field system will notify as that field is incomplete).

Open a sale order - Place a cursor on the value field of a PO Number- Press F1 - Then select Techincal Information - You will get the table in which the PO number gets stored.

Table Name: VBKD

Field Name: BSTKD

We do need to enter this detail in Table and Field in the incomplete procedure.

For the screen field - press F4. You will get list of possible values.

Here we do need to choose the screen in which we are going to make the PO number as mandatory.

PO Number will be in Sales: Header - POData. Hence we need to assign KBES for the screen field in the incomplete procedure.

Sequence: It is instructing the system in which sequence - the system should check these fields.

Thank you very much.

Now I understood how to fild out about the table, field name, screen & sequence. And how to pick the data to create the incompletion procedue.

My question is,

Open sales order-> Goto-> Header-> Texts

I want to make the header text mendarory for sales order and i want to configure incompletion procedure.

Which table, field name, screen are required for incompletion procedure.

hi

in VOTXN tcode

select sales document header

and then change icon now select your text procedure and click on text id's in text procedure

in the column put "X" text is obligatory

Secondly, How can I find the T-codes.

Is it readily avauilable in system?

Hi Ashish,

Use the T.code "SDMO" and enter the text as you require.

Suppose you need T.Code for Text determination.Enter Text as the key word in "Search for text"

Press Execute.

A list will come.Out of it find the Text determination.

Find the T.Code opposite to it.Like this you can find maximum of T.Codes that are used in SAP and in SD as well.
