BO XI R2 logging - naming conventions

Currently running with BO XI R2 SP4 on Solaris 5.10. We considering monitoring BO processes and log files. Typical log file naming convention appears to be:

<srvr>_<date>_<random-nunber>.log

ie: ccm_20090213_1234548851342.log

Besides during startup / shutdown, does anyone know how often the logs get created ( if at all ) and if so, does file size play a roll in determining when to recreate a log?

Thanks.

Manny

logs are created if there are problems or if you enabled tracing.

They grow to 500K and then spawn another one.
