Hi,
We were trying to deploy BO 6.5 service pack 4 on number of machines.One of the user attempted to login to the full-client which interuppted the installation.When the user tries to login it errors out as " Internal error".We traced out the source machine from the audit database and observed that the OBJ_M_GENPAR has been updated to some junk value.
1) Can you explain how the application (corrupt installation) updated the OBJ_M_GENPAR table? The base application is installed and presumably a portion of SP4 is installed. Why would launching the application generate the error "Internal Problem" and update the authentication value?
2) Also what would be the "new" authentication values and what they might relate to?
For example : GENPAR_N_ID =123 changed to GENPAR_N_Value = 25075648
