GI for PRODUCTION Order!!!

Hi guys,

I was trying to do a GI for a Production orders thru MIGO.

I was supposed to do a GI for 1000 Pcs, but last week only 600 Pcs was avaliable so I did a GI for 600 pcs last week. And this week I did the GI for Remaining Part.

Now, the fun part is Instead of selecting the Movement type 261, I accidentally selected 262. But the SLOC and the batch number is different. And SAP did not cancel the GI which I first did but It brought an Additional Stock into the SLOC.

Generally we use the 262 to cancel the previous material docs rite ???

How can we bring stock into Sloc with 262 ??

And If SAP allows this scenario, can i turn this into a hard error, so that I dont accidentally bring in stock.

Please pass on your comments on this..

Thanks,

Sashivardhan.
