MRP parameters

Dear Gurus,

In my MRP views in material master, In House Production Time is defaulted in days, could anyone please tell me if I can maintain this in Hours, If Yes, How?

    Sri,

    Basically "Inhouse production Time" details field is given to enter the data in terms of Days. Incase you need finer details to be updated, you can follow the following route,

    1. Execute transaction CA02, from menu bar Go to --> Extras --> Scheduling and execute detailed scheduling of the routing. Save the results.

    2. Now execute transaction CA96 to update this results to Material master.

    This is the best practice to update the Inhouse production time, which would be accurate to that of the real planned time.

    Hi Srirag,

    u2022 In-house production time in Material master allows entry only in u2018daysu2019; and not hours

    u2022 If you are in need of using 'hours' as the time unit - for the purpose of scheduling, you can always use the Routing Setup/operation/Teardown/...,

    Try with t. code - CA97 for scheduling the materail and updating the material master (mass processing).
