Hi Thanks a lot but how should one visit exactly the offical documentation page from help portal. Because when i type in for some thing in search bar in help portal i get many links will not be sure which is home page of that particular module. Kindly suggest me a generic how to find out a module/concept of SAP if i am completely new to that module where i can find all basics,configs, user cases, documentation, latest updates most of the things about that module.

I want to follow it for my new learning in future.

You can find the MDM Concept and Functional Components here: https://help.sap.com/viewer/99218f2c48044ddc8f2ea30adc0e38a1/7.1.18/en-US/4693b4f00ce0581ee10000000a.... In the same link there is a 'MDM Scenarios at a Glance' section where you can find different scenarios, too.

Hi yes i understood and can find. My question is simple,

In future if i need to find similar documentation for any other module how to find in SAP portals. Because when i search in sap help portal i get lot of links not like the one which you guys shared now. So i wanted to understand how to search for main page for any module which i need in future.

In this case I would suggest you the Product Hierarchy search: https://help.sap.com/viewer/product-finder?q=

The result links are the home pages of the desired products.

Hi,

You should use either the search that you mentioned, or if you know some specific things about the product that you are looking for, then the Product Hierarchy view is quite useful too.

e.g. MDM can be found following this path:

Technology Platform >> SAP NetWeaver >> SAP NetWeaver Master Data Management 7.1.

This logic also works for other products.
