We are facing following issue in XI. Messages are failed due to following error

Error: Transmitting the message to endpoint https://xi.XXXX.com:18060/sap/xi/engine?type=entry using connection File_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Received HTTP response code 500 : Timeout.

There was a short dump in back end sap system :

Runtime Error TIME_OUT

The program "CL_XMS_PERSIST================CP" has exceeded the maximum

permitted runtime without

interruption, and has therefore been terminated.

It is also saying in "How to correct" section of short dump that

-

"TIME_OUT" C

"CL_XMS_PERSIST================CP" or "CL_XMS_PERSIST================CM00W"

"INSERT_MSG_ALL"

No help found at SAP Notes system, so need a quick help on this issue.
