material groups for non stock type requirements

Can we restrict material groups to be used only for non stock type requirement and should not be assigned to any material ?

Is there any indentification for material groups to be used for materials and non-materials (service) requirements ?

Hi

Material group authorization for material master records.

This object determines whether a user is authorized to maintain the

material master record for a specific material group.

In T code OMS2 maintain the Autorization group -against the Material type
