Interim storage types

Hello,

I need help on below issue.

There were some obsolute interim storage types which were deleted from master data but they are still coming in new warehouse while creating interim storage bins. I have already deleted their subsequent bin structure .

Please let me know the reason why these storage types are coming in new warehouse.How to delete these storage types permanantly.

Question - can you create the bins which you mentioned?

If you ask from where the bins and storage types comes in transaction LX20, the answer is that they probably are still assigned in some movement type which is created in the warehouse (in table V_T333). But if you have deleted the storage type, the system should not allow you to create the bin

System do not allow me to create the bins for these storage types gives error "Warehouse no. Storage type does not exist in T301 "

You are right these are assigned to movement type.If I remove it from movement type then it will not come in list of creation of interim storage type bins right?

Yes, you are right, if you remove them from the movement type (or if the movement type will be used, you can update them with the new ones ), you will not see them in the transaction.
