PO release strategy and currency

Hi,

We have PO release strategy with 2 conditions for 2 currencies GBP and EUR. Local currency is GBP and vendor currency is EUR.

The conditions maintained for rel strategy are as

PO net value-EUR < 10,000 EUR &

PO net value-GBP > 0.00 GBP

Exchange rate is 0.5000

Now when a PO is created with this vendor for value less than or equal to 1 EUR, system doesnot pick up release strategy. For any value of PO which results into less tha 0.5 GBP, system doesnot pick release strategy.

Can any one explain the system behaviour.

have u assigned the values for PO class in CL24N, if not maintain those.

you can check the strategy triggering in CL30N, click on Find Intial Class, then enter the values for characterics there, and verify...

If u r still not successful let us know

1. Message when u click on Check release strategy below "Define release procedure for PO in IMG

2. What all characters you have used in framing strategy.

Thanks Sachin,

I have checked CL24N and values are assigned to characteristics foe the class and CL30N where i could find my class as initial class based on characteristics.

The only issue is when net order value in GBP is less than 0.5 GBP ( considering exchange rate), system doenot pick up strategy, though condition is maintained as >0.00 GBP.
