Copy from Delivery to Shipment

Dear experts!

I am trying to copy the field LIPS-PSPNR from the Delivery into the Shipment (field VTTK-EXTI1).

When I create a new Routine (created in VOFM, Data Transfer, Shipment) and assign it do the Shipment Type, system shortdumps, as LIPS-PSPNR is unknown.

Is this the right place to copy data from the delivery into the shipment?

Hi Stefan,

Assign the rotuine in the shipment type , t code - OVTK. this is place from where the copy control from deliveries to shipment is controlled

Hi Stefan,

You can assign the routine in the below path :

Spro->Logistics Execution->Transport--->Shipments->Define Shipment Types

Here select the shipment type and go to details ( Magnifing glass) in the proposal tab can see a field copy routuine.

Hello fellows,

thanks for the input. I know this Routine assignment. So the way would be to create a new Routine (e.g. 908) and assign it.

One issue is that this copy routine is only activated when I hit the 'Planning' button on the Shipment. I actually would like this information to be copied before...

In addition, it seems that LIPS data is not available in the Routine...?

How do I retrieve the delivery data?

Hi,

As a functional consultant at most we can test and confirm how it works, which you have done already that the routine is active after hitting planning button.

What can be done is can just ask the Abap consultant to modify or create a new routine with data you want to get from delivery and can ask the Abap consultant to debug why it is only triggering when the planning button is hit.

Or is there a chance to activate the routine as soon as it enters the shippement type.

I would be happy if I could make the Routine work at first. The developer says, that the LIPS data is not available for him, I am trying to find out which Function Module etc. he can use to look up the data...

I am greatful for any hints!

I could find one but not sure relavent for your developement can have a look.

ADSPC_SHIPPD_CREATE_SD ( Function module to map delvry01 to s1shippd from SD)

LE_MOB_SHIPMENT_FOR_DELIVERY (Identify shipment by delivery)
