user ALEREMOTE locked the load of master data

Hi experts,

I am facing a problem in master data load in BWP. I have a FULL UPLOAD for master data infoobjects but whenever it fails only 1 reason is given in RSMO, error message as USER ALEREMOTE LOCKED THE LOAD OF MASTER DATA FOR A CHARACTERISTIC infoobjectname.

For 1 infoobject this problem comes daily!! Need help to solve it asap.

Hi Priyanka,

In general you will face such locking issues while loading master data if you were trying to load master data paralley. To avoid such locking issesu don't load master data in parallel instead losd then in sequential order.

Some more reasons for ALEREMOTE Lock are:

1. This must have happened since there might be some other back ground process running

Action to Be taken : Delete the error request. Wait for some time and Repeat the chain.

2. ALEREMOTE user is locked Normally, ALEREMOTE gets locked due to a sm59 RFC destination entry having the incorrect password. You should be about to get a list of all sm59 RFC destinations using ALEREMOTE by using transaction se16 to search field RFCOPTIONS for a value of "*U=ALEREMOTE". You will need to look for this information in any external R/3 instances that call the instance in which ALEREMOTE is getting locked as well.

thanks a lot for ur help. 2 infopaks were running for the same infoobject that's why d problem occurred.
