AS91 asset takeover value screen acqusation and accum dep coming with grey

Hi,

In As91 i have tried to create one legacy asset,(dt.31.03.2008) in the takeover screen system is showing the acquisation field and accumalated depreciation field is coming under grey area. Ordinary depreciation field is open.

Asset data transfer date i have given as 31.07.2008. this is golive date

Asset data ordinary dep 2008 period 04.

Can any one help me on this.

Hi,

Just go to OAOA then double click on asset class for which you are creating legacy asset then select "No AUC or Summary Management of AUC" under Status of AuC tab. Save your entry then create your legacy asset TC: AS91 in this class go to Takeover value, I hope field of Cum.acquis.val.and Accm.ord.deprec is ready for input.

Kindly check the given asset class for which you are creating legacy asset & takeover values may be AUC class. so thats why your fields for acquisition and accum dep is not ready for input.

May be this will solve your problem.

Hi ,

I am also facing same problem. I have checked the screen layout in t code OA77 & OA78 . But there are no fields for cum . acquisition val. & accu. ord.depreciation to select optional/required . Is there any other t code for screen layout of values.

Please check if the Asset Fiscal year is Closed for 2008 and also the Depreciation Runs have been posted for the same year or not

hi,

fiscal year 2008 is current fiscal year. this will be closed after march 2009.
