Why Request ID is not generating?

Hi Experts,

I created a new tax code in development client as per the requirement of the client.But the problem is,

Request ID did not generate while i saved it.How can i transport the new Req.ID to production client?

Plz suggest.

    Hi Sumeya,

    If you create Tax code, then the request is not generated automatically.

    You need to create the request manually and include the tax codes which you want to transport under that request.

    Proceed as follows:

    Create tax code in tcode FTXP. (You already did this).

    goto the SAP EASY ACCESS SCREEN by typing "/n". (This step is a must).

    Goto TCode FTXP again. Give your country and now

    From the menu select: Tax code, Transport, Export.

    Now it will ask for the Request ID. You can create new request here. After creating the request, it will show a list of tax codes. You need to select the tax codes which you need to include under the request.

    After including them, go and check the same in SE01 to see whether you included the tax codes correctly under the request.

    Once you do the transport to the production client, you need to goto the TCode FTXP in PRD and import the request there. then all your tax codes will be reflected correctly in the PRD client.
