Can you save a .rpt with integrated security data source to BOE and then...

Let's say you save a .rpt to BOE XI rtm. The .rpt uses integrated security to connect to the database. We want our users to be a member of an Active Directory group with access and not have to login to the database.

But on BOE XI, we'd like to schedule & run our reports using a SQL Server authentication database account. This way we can change the password when needed. And all the schedules are running with the same account. Only the Administrator knows the password.

The problem is...reports won't run after switching between the two authentication types. Seems you can't save a .rpt with an integrated security data source to BOE and then run the .rpt using database (SQL Server) authentication. Is this true?!

The question is...is there a way to set/change the authentication type? The Database screen on the Process tab doesn't offer this setting.

Or, is the answer to use a "service" account that's on the Active Directory domain to run our reports?

Thanks.
