0GIDATE (KF) as variable

I have 0GIDATE as KF with 0Calday as ref characteristic. If I want to have 0GIDATE as a variable in the query, is it possible to populate the date?

a KF can not be in reference to a char.

It is a date, OK, but that's all

Unfortunatelly you can not use a variable on a KF. If I remember, there might be a solution in the HOW TO from SAP. Try to have a look.

Otherwise, create a char referenced to 0CALday, fill in the data as for 0GIDATE, and create a variable that you can use in the query

Thanks. I mapped gidate field to 0gidate and also 0calday for this purpose. hope this is right.

If you need to use this date for calculations, create a CKF with a formula replacement variable.
