Recalculate asset depreciation

One of the assets was loaded into SAP in 2008 as a fully depreciated asset. The issue is this asset should have been depreciated for 9 years, which would take it into 2012. Capitalization year (2003) and the acquisition amount are correct in the asset master. Is there a way to correct this error?

    Hi,

you can extend the useful life with the corrected years. Then let SAP recalculate the depreciation with AFAR and the depreciation should be extended.

All this will be possible only if your asset module is not closed with AJAB transaction.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Miroslav
