Question about Investee information in COI

Dear SDNers,

I've never really paid attention to this detail, but when you execute the COI, the system always fill the investee field for all accounts that are movemented (even if the item is not breakdown by Investee).

This is linked to the fact that the "Application" used for the Document type is "Consolidation of Investments".

This behavior is logical for Investment accounts (for example), but what is the use of filling this information for ALL accounts ? All the more so as the system just copies the Company value into the Investee field...

Has anyone little more info about this point, because it is not really explained in the documentation ?

Many thanks for your feedback

Regards,

Thibaud

With the COI postings the investee simply helps identify the investee for which the postings are relevant. I am not sure this can be changed or even should be.
