Extracting/Downloading SAP configuration (example: Field status groups)

Hello All,

Am hoping one of you can help with the following.

I am trying to download SAP field status groups configuration but am having difficulty in doing so. The field status group table, T004F, only contains the field status settings as a string in table fields (T004F-FAUS1 and T004F-FAUS2) which is of no help when want to extract this data from SAP. Within the configuration table view (V_T004F) I have seen that the field status group settings are displayed using a structure (LF006).

I have tried to see if BC (Business configuration) sets could help but they do not as it just is showing the same detail I can view through transaction SE16N for table T004F.

In summary, my question is how can quickly download SAP configuration, for example to spreadsheet file, specifically where that configuration contains structures and therefore can't just do a table dump to get the required detail.

Thanks very much in advance,

Michael

Execute T Code OBC4. Highlight your FSV and double-click on Field status groups in the left window pane. The click on 'Print field status' button. Would the following screen help you anyway?

      Hi,

Thanks for your reply. Yes that is exactly what I required. It was the one thing I hadn't checked as I assumed that would just print and not show the overview in tabular format like it does.

      Thanks again,

      Michael
