Maintainence view of a table without primary keys

Ladies and Gentlemen << Let's be inclusive here >>

a quick question

If i create a transparent table without any primary keys except MANDT.

The idea is to have a table with cost types (eg labor cost, warehouse cost etc) and the cost centers associated. In a nutshell I dont need a primary key.

The problem is when i create a maint. view for such a table it gives me strange errors saying that "selection crirteria not met" or something. I am able to create entries in se11 though.

Am i missing any fundamental of DDIC ??

Thanks for reading
