Use 1000 separator causes keyboard input to be discarded?

Hi,

we have several dashboards using spinner controls to accept parameters for the visualization.

Users have found keyboard input is discarded, for spinners which have an Appearance->value->Number Format of Currency or Numeric (with Use 1000 separator checked).

E.g:

. the spinner displays an initial value of £250,000

. the user clicks into the spinner to the left of the comma, deletes the 250 and enters 123

. the user presses Tab or Enter

Result: the spinner reverts to showing £250,000

The same behaviour is seen if a Numeric (rather than Currency) format is used, with the 1000s separator in use.

Is this a known issue in Engage SP1 FP2 (which we are using)?

The only workaround I can find is to use a plain Numeric format with "Use 1000 separator" unchecked, anyone else found a better workaround?

Many thanks,

Martin Frost.
