Hi Experts,

We are going to install BIA. We have to prepare a lists:

- runtimes for Hierarchy and Attribute Changeruns of the past 4 weeks,

- runtime distribution of Changerun (Aggregate adjustment / Master data adjustment),

- runtimes for rollup of daily delta data into InfoCubes

Do you know how to measure this? Is there any special transaction to get those reports?

You could better use BI Statistics for the required ionformation I believe.....

Hi,

You need to go to each process i mean Hier/rollup/ACR( go to logs) and calculate the runtime (End time-start time)

Ok, I'm in ACR (t-code rsattr) - > Logs -> From 24.02.09 to 24.03.09.

Is it proper way to get runtimes for Attribute Changeruns of the past 4 weeks ?

How to calculate this information?

It is one way but you need to calculate the runtimes manually. If you use statistics, it will give you all teh runtimes once you execute the reports. If you dont have installed proceed like how you are doing now else statistics is the best method to do it.....

Aren't you using ACR in PC?, you can goto ACR-->Display messages copy the start time and end time,

( Or) goto SM37> give BI_STRU* as job name, and give * as user name, choose the dates for which u need to capture, check Finished jobs and execute> Then goto display logs of each job and note down teh start and end time

I'm a beginner in SAP BW..

When I use BI_STRU* in SM37 the system generates a message "No job matches the selection criteria".

I think that BI_PROCESS_ATTRIBCHAN is a proper jobname.

Venkat Ambati do you know, which statistics IC or which report give me information about runtime for Attribute Changeruns?

BI_PROCESS_ATTRIBCHAN--> job when you are running through PC

BI_STRU--> when you run ACR manually ( through RSATTR)

Normally we use ACR in Master chain(Master loads), so go to master chain and check

Which jobname I should choose to get runtimes for rollup of daily delta data into InfoCubes ?

The job name starts with the prefix BI_STRU.

Give BI_STRU* and search within the specified time.

BI_AGGR for rollup.

BI_process_rollup --> if you run through pc

BI_AGGR* --> if you activate manually

The below are the tables from which the setup of statisctics(cubes/ODS) get data to the reports.

For queries/reports you can search from help.sap.com.

Hi

Before you implement the BIA, check the following OSS Notes. You can find something that might help you: OSS 1180279 and 1010267.
