Dear Experts,
My customer wants to use Adobe Interactive forms to create documents.
The requirement is also to run reports based on the content of the forms. For example if you have a checkbox for a field, to run a report to see all the documents that have the checkbox ON.
Please advise on the best practice to achieve that. I was thinking to use classification, the content of the form to be populated in characteristics for reporting.
Please let me know if you would use that approach or if there are functionalities into TREX search that can achieve our goal.
Many thanks,
Alex
Dear Alex,
from my point of view the approach with the TREX search could be benefitial. Because when the files are indexed you can use document serach function with fulltext search for searching through the file text too. So you can find a word or value in the file and then trigger a reaction.
This search can be done via CV04N transaction and from there you can also define specific processes which can be triggered like a report.
Best regards,
Christoph
