Variance in numbers between Xcelcius and Excel

Hello - I am new to Xcelcius and am experimenting with the trial version.

I have created a model that lets me vary assumptions using Xcelcius for the financial outcome of our business over the course of 12 months.

For each Data Point, e.g. Total Revenue, Total Costs, Gross Profit, etc., I have a BASELINE value and the "new" value based on changes in Assumptions.

To create the BASELINE (BL), I simply copied the values of my main worksheet (MAIN) to a new worksheet using the PASTE VALUES command.

The changes I make to assumptions then only impact the MAIN worksheet. I then show both the MAIN value and BL value on my Xcelcius canvas.

I have noticed, however that before I even make any assumption changes, some of my MAIN values are different than the original BASELINE values. In one case the variance is over 1000% - from 118k to 10k. I have triple checked my excel values and the BASELINE and MAIN spreadsheets match 100% - but the minute I click PREVIEW some of my MAIN numbers go immediately out of whack.

Is this a known issue? Is my spreadsheet too complex? Or is this attributable to the variation in the way Xcelcius and Excel calculate numbers.

I have installed FP2 - which did not help....

Any direction is appreciated.
