Header Total Tax in Sales Order

Hi I have a requirement to output a header total tax in Sales Order from Header Data-> Conditions Tab-> Tax Field MWSBP

My question is where can I find the total tax? I know there is a tax field at item level in VBAP table But I need the total tax for the whole Sales Order.

Thank you,

Will award points.

    Hello Friend,

Always tax is calculated at Item Level as there is nothing called Header Tax.Suppose there are 3 line items with taxes the total of all the 3 line items will be the total tax for the document. As Tax is calculated based on Customer & Material Combination.

Still the Total Tax value should be stored somewhere in the database. Or are you saying that the Tatal Value gets calculated on the screen and is not actually anywhere. If this is the way its done its not the best solution...

    Hello Friend,

You can give the logic to your technical person for the output is Take all the Item Taxes and cumulate the total and print in the output.

    Hi Maksims,

Header Level Tax - field u had mentioned is from a structure. Fields of structure will not be stored in a table.

Solution: If u require data for a report. below method can be tried(we had actually done this)

for eg. for sales order # 1, tax (ZDTX - Condtn Type) - total tax: Rs 6500/-

Pick up the doc condn(KNUMV) from VBAK by passing the sales doc nos or give a date range or input some filter criteria, pass the doc condn to table KONV and pick up the tax value (KWERT) for the corresponding tax condition type (in this eg - ZDTX) KSCHL..

    Hope this helps..................

    Rgds,

thats what I thought. I have already implemented a solution to this. I just get a total tax per item level from VBAP-MWSBP So its not condition dependet. The way I did it was as follows:

Create an internal table of structure that just has Non-unique key VBELN and MWSBP (Item level tax)

Then loop through that table and use COLLECT statement.
